Lithium-ion battery pack (battery): must be 100Wh or less

Most laptops and mobile phones fall under this category. The watt-hour (Wh) rating must be clearly indicated on the battery exterior.

Lithium-ion battery cell: must be 20Wh or less

Quantity limit: up to 2 lithium batteries per package

General rule: Lithium batteries must be installed in or built into the device.

Loose batteries cannot be shipped separately.
